In this three hour continuing education class you will gain an understanding of identity theft. We will start with what identity theft is, general misconceptions and types of identity theft. You will see examples of what happens to those people and businesses where fault in data loss was found. To round out a general understanding we will cover how identity theft occurs and what the government has done about it. We will see how employers can protect themselves and their customers followed by a quick overview of what the industry response has been. This class will arm you with information to better serve your clients!
